IMEAS is proud to introduce JUMAT Asia as its new official Agent for its stainless and specialty metals business unit for the territories of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, Thailand and Vietnam.
Following its strategy of continuous growths and business development into the asian market, on May 1st, 2009 IMEAS has signed an Agency Agreement with the company Jumat Asia Co., Ltd based in Bangkok, Thailand. The agreement had been made public today.
Jumat Asia will promote IMEAS business concerning:
- Grinding, polishing, brushing and mirror finishing equipment
- Surface protection equipment
- Handling and automation systems
- Filtration systems for powders and process fluids
Mr.Bernard Jubre, President of Jumat Asia, will be the person in charge for the promotion and development of IMEAS business in South East Asia with a special focus in the following territories:
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Philippine
- Thailand
- Vietnam

IMEAS spa is an Italian company with branches in four continents, that is specialized in manufacturing and supplying turn-key plants for grinding and polishing of stainless metals and special alloys, such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and nickel.
The company produces and supplies also calibrating and sanding lines for the woodworking Industry. The IMEAS Group employs over 150 people worldwide and its net sales in 2006 were EUR 20 mln, of which more than 95% for export.
Mr.Bernard JUBRE has been graduated from a French Engineer school (Conservatoire National des Art et Métiers ).
In 1972 he joined Fives DMS, a world leading company for the manufacturing of equipment for the steel industry, cold rolling mills and processing lines, mainly in the stainless steel and special steel field.
After two years in the design department he moved to the commercial department and was appointed in 1992 Director of Marketing and Development of Sales.
He retired on April 2009 and set up its own Representative Company JUMAT Asia Co., Ltd in Bangkok Thailand.
Thanks to his knowledge in handling proposals and offers to prospective clients particularly in Far-East Asia, mr.Jubre has developed experience and established ties and personal contacts in Far-East Asia, being in a perfect position to promote in the territory the sales of IMEAS equipment.
