The exhibition, which took place in Hannover a few weeks ago, has been a very successful event for IMEAS, bringing new customers, projects and a wide interest for the Full Control System.

Ligna 2009 has been a very special event for IMEAS.

First of all, we got  business contacts with people from over 34 countries and five continents and some of them have already  led to effective orders: a result in counter-tendency in the current economical panorama.

Moreover, Ligna 2009 was the perfect scenario for IMEAS to present our innovative supervising  and controlling system, the Full Control System (TM) (or FCS).

FCS  raises  the management of  a sanding line to a higher level than  ever , not only because of its complete integration with the plant, but also because  it  enables a full remote control of all working parameters, from the feeding speed to the fine positioning of each sanding unit.

In addition to its easy-to-use graphical interface, IMEAS Full Control System  optimizes  the  of sanding  process, minimizing the  energy  consumption and the wear and tear of abrasive belts . Furthermore the consumption trend can be monitored and pro-actively compensated by means of customizable sanding policies.

FCS capabilities were shown in live demo during the fair, drawing  the  attention of several visitors. A first FCS installation has been scheduled for the end of 2009.
