Description
The RCS grinding cabins represent the ideal solution for the machining of hot rolled (HR) plates and coils with thickness up to 50mm.
Their extremely robust structure, combined with the large diameter contact roller and the powerful main motors of up to 250 kW allow to achieve a perfectly planar surface in a very short time.
The innovative pressure rolls – an Imeas’ exclusive – maintain the sheet planar during the grinding process, while the hydraulically operated counter-pressure roller (aka Billy-roll) guarantees the necessary contrast to the metal plate.
All hydraulic movements are controlled by a special control unit.
All machines are available for machining coil and sheets, and for dry or wet machining.
