14 Mar Update on COVID-19: Suspension of activity
Milan, 13 March 2020 -IMEAS, the world leader in the supply of surface finishing solutions, has announced today that due to the pandemic spread of COVID-19 and in compliance with the Decree of the Italian Prime Minister, 11 March 2020 which disposes of “Urgent measures to contain the contagion throughout the Italian territory”, has adopted all the necessary procedures to rigorously respect the legislative prescriptions and in general to protect the health of its employees.
In this regard IMEAS spa has decided to temporary suspend its production activities from March 16th, 2020 till March 20th, 2020.
This decision has also been taken considering the growing difficulty in receiving materials and components from our suppliers (both Italian and foreigners) because of reduced circulation of goods and suspended activities as well.
Due to the suppression of most air, sea and land connections and the closure of some Italian airports all existing orders will be subject to delay for preparation and shipment/delivery.
In order to continuously support our valued customers, we would like to reassure you that the staff of the IMEAS Commercial Department remains active and available!
