EvoL-S, Side sanders for glulam beams
EvoL-S is the new side sander in IMEAS’ EvoL family, designed to complete the sanding cycle of engineered wood beams and panels. Designed to operate on panel sides, it is the ideal solution for increasing the aesthetic and functional value of the finished product. In combination with the EvoL calibrating machines, it allows four-side machining of beams. Compact, efficient and ready for Industry 4.0, EvoL-S can be perfectly integrated into existing automatic lines.

Product Description.
EvoL-SIDE was created to meet the need to sand the side edges of laminated, solid, CLT and other wood panels. The unit can be equipped with C-type (calibrating) or P-type (fine sanding) heads and is suitable for different thicknesses and working widths. Independent electronic control of the heads enables centesimal adjustment of pressure and position, ensuring precise machining even on thin or sensitive panels.
The machine can be supplied with one fixed head or both floating heads, and with the adoption of the Full Control System™, it allows for pushed automation of the production line. The system is prepared for integration with intelligent factory platforms, supporting predictive maintenance, data tracking and dynamic adaptation of machining parameters.
