Test room
We offer our customers the chance to test their materials with full-scale machines in order to verify their workability and the final results that can achieved with Imeas’ solutions.
After defining the set of analyses to be performed, the tests are carried out at Customer’s presence by IMEAS hi-qualified staff and a qualitative/quantitative report is released.
Availability
The IMEAS testing facility has been designed to be flexible and as a matter of fact it is possible to simulate a huge number of different working conditions, among which:
- Grinding/Calibrating
- Grinding/polishing
- Brushing (ScotchBrite)
- Directional finishing (buffing)
- Mirror buffing (SuperMirror)
- Dry processing
- Wet processing with water, emulsion or mineral oil
Materials
The materials that can be tested include:
- Stainless steels or carbon steels
- Titanium alloys
- Special metal alloys
- Wood and its by products
- Rubber and rubber composites
- Plastic, acrylic materials, fiberglas
- Fiber-cement
Besides all of this, all the samples supplied by customers can be tested.
Reporting
When the test session is completed, an exhaustive report together with the processed samples allows to define the optimal configuration of the line and to prepare an investment budget. The technical report may include:
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the samples to be tested, surface status, thickness, planarity, roughness, etc.
- List of the performed tests
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis analysis of the achieved results
- Suggestions for the industrial configuration of the production line
